Further detail for 12 lite includes a speedball motor with a PS 4012 arm and 4011 end bell, or a Koford arm M645-12-40 in a Hawk 6 JK setup. Group 12 requires 59 grams, allows shunt wires, and permits aluminum end bells and Cahoza cans, with .047 clearance. Hollow axles are allowed. Track calls are limited to issues on the main straight in front of the drivers or when a car ends up on the floor under the track. Modifications that seem questionable are likely not legal, so use common sense. Group 12 awards include $100 to the top qualifier courtesy of Wizard works Larry Langdon and a new 12 motor for the winner. The 12 lite winner receives a brand new 12 lite motor. The F2K winner has the entry fee waived.
