She lives in Michigan, where she teaches early childhood music and homeschools her daughters.

Curated and produced by international recording artist and two time Billboard chart topping saxophonist Phil Denny, this one day ticketed celebration features multiple performances and a welcoming atmosphere for adult music fans. Set within the historic Armory, the event spotlights the venue’s deep community roots. The Armory once housed the 119th Field Artillery of the Michigan National Guard and over the decades hosted dances, weddings, circuses, boxing matches, wartime rallies, and St. Patrick’s Day gatherings. After a period of inactivity, the building was restored by the Gillespie Group and now serves as its corporate headquarters alongside a number of nonprofit organizations. On site offerings include food vendors, beer and wine, local art, merchandise, and more. The fete attracts a broad mix of adults and typically welcomes more than 500 attendees from across the state, neighboring states, and beyond. This event is limited to guests 21 years of age and older.
