Runners gather at Stony Creek Metro Park for a community event featuring 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances. The run supports people facing homelessness, substance use, domestic violence, and trafficking through Grace Centers of Hope and its Life Skills Programs, which help men, women, and children build stability and become productive members of society. Participating in any distance shows support for residents and families who are rebuilding their lives and going the distance every day. There are multiple ways to contribute, including race registration, sponsoring, volunteering, peer to peer fundraising by creating a team, donating, and providing raffle items. An IMPACT Card available on event day offers a chance to win a raffle prize and to request information about volunteering, tours, and staying connected. Each race registration includes the official Pave the Way race T-shirt, a bib, a finisher medal, and refreshments.

Cranksgiving rolls out from D&D Northville with a choose-your-own-ride format that pairs fall color with a spirit of giving. Hosted by R3 and celebrating its 10th year, this community ride offers three options. Tackle roughly 35 miles to Plymouth Orchard that includes a ride-through passage in the orchard, opt for a 10 mile family ride down Hines Drive that wraps up with a visit to Parmenter’s Orchard, or take on an approximately 37 mile gravel route to Plymouth Orchard. Expect crisp air, changing leaves, and the chance to enjoy a donut along the way. Cranksgiving is a national effort that takes place in nearly 100 locations across the United States, and this edition marks the sixth annual D&D Cranksgiving. Registration is available, and participants are encouraged to share photos using #DDCranksgiving.
