This 2nd Annual Hot Summer Sets Volleyball Tournament is open to the first 12 teams that register. It features 6-person co-ed teams and includes a 3-match guarantee, followed by a bracketed final. The tournament is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM, and the entry fee is $150 per team. The tournament is sold out, but you can text to get added to a wait list.

Get ready for the Up Next: Minnesota showcase, a competitive, age-grouped girls’ event that brings top players together in one gym for drills and scrimmages. Athletes will start with check-in, move into position drills, and finish with scrimmage play. The event also includes scouting and coverage through Prep Dig.

Cypher Rotunda returns to Mall of America, transforming the Rotunda into Minnesota’s biggest street dance showdown. Dancers from across the country converge for two high-energy competitions: a 2 v 2 Breaking bracket open to all ages with a $1,000 prize, and a 3 v 3 Open Styles contest offering $1,500. Prelims run for both categories, then the main event features the Top 8 through to the finals. Breaking is judged by Physicx for the main rounds, with Boogie B on prelims and Mass and El Nino handling both prelims and main event. Open Styles is judged by NO1NE, Hans, and Zeku. Burnsville Pride presents a guided mushroom foraging outing led by Board President and resident foraging expert, Alison. Participants will explore the forest while learning how to identify edible varieties, with a focus on chanterelles, chicken of the woods, and hen of the woods. Beginners are welcome, and the pace and instruction are designed to be inclusive and educational for everyone. Bring a basket, mesh bag, or paper bag for collecting and avoid plastic bags, since mesh and baskets allow spores to disperse as you walk. Wear long pants and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Pack a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. Foraging will take place in Alimagent Park, and volunteers in Burnsville Pride T-shirts will be available to help. The fifth edition of On The One Music Festival brings a milestone headliner to Bloomington Central Station, with Grammy-nominated R&B vocalist Carl Thomas leading the bill. Time is spent mindfully among the trees, then a group reiki meditation aims to guide participants into a theta state and signal the body that healing is safe, helping to unwind unhelpful loops and patterns. Please bring a blanket or towel or a yoga mat, an optional pillow, water, and a journal with a pen. No prior experience is required, and ages 16 and older are welcome.
