Casual Commander takes center stage on the busiest night for MTG. The game room regularly draws more than 40 players, creating plenty of pods and lively matchups. There is no entry fee, and door prizes come in the form of official Promo Packs. The focus is on meeting fellow enthusiasts, finding a seat at a pod, and enjoying friendly games. It is also a welcoming option for newer players who want to sharpen their play and try out new decks.

Market on Main brings a summer-long celebration to Downtown Blue Springs, showcasing local growers and makers. Explore farm-fresh produce, handcrafted goods, fresh flowers, and more. The season includes special theme days such as Dog Days of Summer, Health and Wellness Day, Artists and Authors, and Harvest Fest. Supported by St. Mary’s Medical Center. Updates are shared on social media by Downtown Blue Springs and Market on Main. Vendor opportunities are available with full-season, partial, and daily options.

The Free to Breathe Kansas City Walk brings together a community committed to raising awareness and funding vital research to increase lung cancer survival. Enjoy a free outdoor Pilates class at the Raymore Amphitheater in Hawk Ridge Park, led by Andrea Cox with Megan’s Yoga Tribe. This welcoming session is open to all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Bring a yoga mat or towel, come solo or with a friend, and take in movement, fresh air, and a sense of community. Participation is free, sign up is requested, and every attendee receives a complimentary 7 day pass to Megan’s Yoga Tribe. No experience is required.

Local musicians are invited to take the stage for an open jam, with a live audience ready to listen. Core equipment is available on site thanks to a donation from Terry Wood of One-Two-Trio. Bring your own instrument and jump in, whether you are new to performing or an experienced player, and play in any style that suits you. There is no entry fee. Tips for performers are welcome but not required. Guests may bring whatever food they like, and domestic bucket specials will be available throughout the day.
