Scotty McBee brings his seasoned musicianship to Iron Horse Bar and Grill in Lee’s Summit. Performing and teaching since 1988, he earned a degree from the UMKC Conservatory of Music in 1996 and has shared the stage with Ida McBeth, the McFadden Brothers, Kim Park, Bloodstone, and others. His background includes work in tribute groups honoring KISS, Bon Jovi, and Jellyfish, co-creating the long-running Jerry’s Jam Night, and helping launch Jazz Discharge, a Zappa-inspired band. His debut album, Playing With Myself, arrived in 2005. Beyond performing, he runs McBeest Music, LLC, where he offers private lessons and full recording production, and he records as a freelance studio musician for Kansas City artists. He currently leads Troubadour Retrievers and Special Forces, A Salute to .38 Special, and plays percussion with Superstar Mafia. He also appears with Brad Cox and the People’s Liberation Big Band, Project Mayhem, Kelly Blue, and other local projects. Iron Horse Bar and Grill in Lee’s Summit regularly features live music on Thursdays and Saturdays.

This concert series features live performances by local bands along with burgers, hot dogs, and cold drinks. Test rides on in-stock motorcycles are available without obligation, with proper riding gear and a motorcycle license required. Last Nights Band, a rock band, performs live at Iron Horse Bar and Grill in Lees Summit, MO. The group features Gordon Michael Michaels on guitar and vocals, Ric McBath on guitar and vocals, Chef Adam on drums, Matt Rosenthal on bass and vocals, and Stinson on piano and keys. The Lees Summit location also hosts live music on Thursdays and Saturdays.
