All are welcome to take part in a Quilt of Valor Sew Day hosted by The Stitchin Post LLC. Participants should bring a sewing machine and supplies. Those who do not sew can still contribute by ironing or lending a hand to others.

Cool off at the fourth annual Rodney Richardson Water Run at Town Square Park. This family friendly event features a 5k and a 1 Mile Fun Run that wind through the historic neighborhood in Downtown Hattiesburg, with super soakers along the route and a refreshing spray from the Hattiesburg Fire Department at the finish. The course concludes at Town Square Park. All proceeds support Ddembe Ministries, an orphan, widow, and family care ministry in Jinja, Uganda. Registration is available for runners and volunteers.

Jellyfish is a support group for LGBTQIA+ youth in grades 6 through 12. It is led by an LGBTQIA+-identified youth educator and advocate and provides opportunities to receive support and connect with peers who share similar identities.
