Family events in Tupelo, MS

Part of a fall youth concert series, this show features live performances from Reese Burks, Caroline Capree, and the Charlton James Band. Tickets are for ages 12 and up. Food will be available from Bleu Collar Toasties.

Step away from screens and explore pioneer era know how with the Tombigbee Pioneers living history group at the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center. Try basket weaving, spinning wool, making old fashioned dolls, woodworking, early American musical instruments, doily tatting, and other traditional skills. This hands on experience invites participants to slow down, make something tangible, and reconnect with everyday practices from the past without relying on technology.

Missouri visits Mississippi State for an SEC football clash at Davis Wade Stadium on the Mississippi State University campus. This midseason meeting features differing styles, careful game-planning, and hard-hitting battles at the line, all in a spirited home atmosphere.

Relax beneath the night sky along the Natchez Trace at an outdoor movie series that captures the easy pace of a Mississippi evening. Bring a blanket and choose a comfortable spot on the grass surrounded by Southern pines. Snacks are welcome. A short ranger program, about 15 to 20 minutes, leads into the film. The screening takes place on the lawn outside the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center. Admission is free. Please follow Leave No Trace principles and pack out everything you bring.
