Now in its 16th year, this memorial barrel race returns to Starkville at MS Horse Park for three days of competition. Open 4D classes run each day, with a dedicated Youth 4D on Saturday. Settle in for an easygoing movie night under the stars on the Natchez Trace as FernGully (1992) screens as part of an outdoor film series. Spread a blanket on the grass beneath Southern pines, bring snacks if you like, and enjoy a summer evening with family and friends. Admission is free. A short ranger program lasting about 15 to 20 minutes will precede the film. The gathering takes place on the lawn outside the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center.
