Helena’s premier free family health and wellness celebration returns with a Wild West twist at Centennial Park and Great Northern Carousel Park. Enjoy a lively blend of movement and play, featuring a one mile fun run for kids plus plenty of games and other activities. Participants receive complimentary admission to ExplorationWorks! and the Great Northern Carousel, and free T-shirts are available for the first 500 kids who register. Western attire is encouraged for all ages, so dust off those boots and hats. This fest is one of the ways St. Peter’s Health supports the well-being of children and families in the community.

XX Bar Farm & Ranch will have a truck at Helena Farmers' Market offering beef raised entirely on grass, pasture-raised pork, and eggs from hens kept on pasture.

At the Original Governor's Mansion Carriage House in Helena, the A Taste of History program Fine Dining and Hard Labor offers a full-day look at how food mirrored and upheld class distinctions in the historic West. The experience contrasts polished dining and the physical work that made such refinement possible, spotlighting menus that signaled wealth alongside the labor required to prepare and serve them. Through narratives of domestic service and hospitality, participants explore how meals shaped identity and social hierarchy in Helena’s past. This stand-alone program includes small tastings of historical foods, dishes people of the era would have eaten, so the past can be experienced through flavor as well as story. Registration is required. Admission is $75 for members and $80 for nonmembers. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to each location.

Join Jeremy, a longtime potter and owner of JMACS Pottery, for a one-hour wheel tune up workshop at Omerta Arts. The session focuses on a specific wheel-throwing technique and will cover key skills like centering, getting the perfect pull, trimming, and more. Ages 15 and up are welcome.
