A helicopter will be on site at Skydive Coastal Carolinas for a full day of jump operations featuring two landing options. Airport landings are priced at $175 and require a B license with at least 100 prior jumps. Beach landings are $225 and require a C license along with a qualifying jump. Participation is limited to licensed jumpers. Space is limited, spots are allocated in the order they are claimed, and all sales are final. If weather does not cooperate, helicopter jump slots will shift to the following week. King Air flights will continue to run throughout the day.

Explore the legacy of indigo along the Cape Fear and learn why this subtropical plant was a major commodity in the Carolinas during the 18th century. The program highlights the skilled labor of enslaved Africans in extracting the valuable blue dye and explains the science behind how plants yield that color. Visitors can see and take part in activities with a working fermentation vat, with dyeing demonstrations offered throughout. T-shirts will be available for purchase for those who want to try resist dyeing. This is a partnered program between Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site and the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport, and it takes place at the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.
