Children should not be left unattended, and for health and safety, proper clothing is required both inside and outside the restaurant. Dogs must remain on a leash when outside of the dog park, and animals are not allowed inside the restaurant. On certain dates, the courtyard hosts special happenings in place of a movie, such as the Asian Night Market with food trucks, a pop up market, a Meet the Artist room, and a karaoke singalong, or Fiesta Friday with Latin food trucks, a pop up market, a Kids Corner, special performances, and dancing.

At McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, the Walk for Water highlights the global water crisis by recreating the daily journey many people undertake to collect water. Registration is free. A donation of $25 or more includes an exclusive Walk T-shirt and helps provide ongoing access to safe water for one person. Stories like those of 11-year-olds Neema and Recho, who must walk for water that often makes them sick, reflect the physical, emotional, and spiritual burdens carried by millions of women and children worldwide. The goal is to raise funds to provide safe water and share God’s love with 1,000 people in need.

Spend an afternoon discovering art at the Guild of Charlotte Artists 2026 Artist Market. Explore works by artists while enjoying food trucks, live music, and a cash bar on the front terrace.
