Built between 1901 and 1904 for merchant Jesse Moye and his wife, Susan Novella Higgs, it is among the oldest homes in Greenville. At age 12, Susan Higgs was the youngest dancing instructor in America. Designed by Herbert Woodley Simpson of New Bern, the house blends Queen Anne and Colonial Revival influences and serves as a venue for local concerts as well as a bed and breakfast.
