A free outdoor yoga class takes place in front of the Greeley Park Band Shell, offered by the YMCA as part of its Fitness Mondays series. Hellhound Film Club presents a free movie night at The Spot each Wednesday, featuring a film followed by a conversation. A podcast is recorded afterward that continues the discussion about the movie. Admission is free, and with the purchase of a drink from The Spot, popcorn is complimentary. The Spot partners with the club to provide the venue for these live weekly screenings.

Abbie Griffin Park hosts the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department’s free Thursday Night Live summer concert series, offering live music in a variety of styles. This edition features children’s performer Sammie Haynes, whose award-winning songs have delighted young listeners and their families from New England to the West Coast for more than 30 years, with recognition that includes Parent’s Choice and National Parenting Publications awards. She enjoys engaging with kids during performances and uses humor to keep the experience lively. Based in southern Maine, she also teaches Music Together and performs adult music with her Rhythm and Roots and Texas swing band, MAINESQUEEZE, as well as with her husband, singer-songwriter Cormac McCarthy. Attendees are welcome to bring family and friends, lawn chairs, and dinner for a relaxed evening in the park. Presented in partnership with the Merrimack Public Library, this children’s concert concludes the library’s summer reading program.
