Potluck Poetry is a monthly gathering for poets and poetry enthusiasts held every second Thursday of the month. Attendees are encouraged to bring a snack to share, and beverages are provided by VHAS. Some months include special themes. The event is free, and donations are appreciated. It takes place at the museum with an option to participate online via Zoom. Registration is requested to help with planning or to receive the Zoom link. This program does not meet in July or August.

Steady rhythms guide the mind to soften and the body to relax, while the gathering blends community drumming with gentle storytelling, simple ritual, song, and movement to create space for personal reflection and collective harmony. The session is led by Tom Campbell of Sacred Tree Drumming, who brings more than three decades of experience facilitating mindful, accessible group drumming. Drums are provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own. Everyone will be comfortably seated in chairs throughout. The fee is $25, and registration is required due to limited seating. A patriotic-themed paint and sip evening raises funds for the Vineland Historical Society. Participants follow a guided painting session and select one of three artwork options when buying a ticket. The $50 ticket includes all materials with an 11 by 14 inch canvas, plus beverages and light bites. The gathering offers time to appreciate the value of safeguarding local stories, artifacts, and traditions while directly supporting the Society’s work to preserve Vineland’s heritage, care for historical collections, and deliver educational and innovative programs for the community. The 24th annual Golden Classics of South Jersey car show showcases vintage vehicles alongside arts and crafts, food vendors, and a swap meet. Entertainment includes live music by Chris Randazzo, along with door prizes, trophies, and dash plaques.
