(SOLD OUT) Introduction to Stained Glass for Veterans and Active-Duty Military Only!

Join this in-person stained glass workshop designed for veterans and active-duty military members only. Over two days (with sessions running each day), you will learn the basics of stained glass art, including the history of the craft, how to cut glass, and fundamental design techniques. You’ll also work on making stained glass sun catchers and create your own projects using the copper foil method. No prior experience is required, and there’s a class limit of 10. Registration is free for eligible service members, but documentation is required.

NASA @ New Jersey Motorsports Park - Thunderbolt

Spend a weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park for NASA’s Thunderbolt “Summer SIZZLE,” a crossover event with the NASA Mid Atlantic region. Friday features test and tune along with advanced HPDE groups (HPDE2 is not offered on Friday) plus a 4-hour TREC race. Saturday and Sunday include HPDE sessions for multiple groups and instructors, plus time trials and sprint racing. Electric and hybrid vehicles are not allowed at NJMP. Camping is free, and electric hook-ups are included. Trophy awards are held Saturday at 6:00 PM.

The trip includes museum admission, plus time for a self-guided visit and exploring the city on your own. The featured Women’s Ballot Box will be part of “The Declaration’s Journey” exhibit. Lunch is not included. The group departs from the Vineland Historical Society in the morning, returns in the late afternoon.

Take a relaxing bus trip with the Vineland Historical & Antiquarian Society to Philadelphia to visit the Museum of the American Revolution. The trip includes general admission and a chance to see the Women’s Ballot Box featured in “The Declaration’s Journey” exhibit, along with a self-guided museum visit and time to explore Philadelphia until the bus departs. The day includes round-trip bus transportation, a driver tip, and a donation to VHAS. Lunch is on your own. Tickets are $75 and are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by VHAS, but they are transferable.
