Tours visit cell blocks, the execution chamber, the sandstone quarry, and other historic areas while sharing accounts of notorious inmates, frontier-era escapes, Ice Age fossil discoveries, and the prison-run casino considered unique in the United States. Several start times are offered. Tickets cost $25 per person. Closed-toed shoes are advised due to uneven ground, and participants should be prepared to walk about half a mile and climb roughly 60 steps. Bring water, sunscreen, and a camera.
