Pokémon: Open Play League
Enjoy open play at a casual Pokémon league that supports newcomers learning the game as well as players looking to get in some practice. Participation is free, creating a low-pressure way to play and build skills. Prize packs are provided to everyone who participates.
Kirwan's Game Store (Catskill)Weekly Open Studio Art Groups for Creativity and Connection
A weekly creative arts group welcomes local residents of Ulster and Sullivan counties at Frederick Farm Goat Sanctuary. Participants can stay for the full session or drop in for part of it. Reservations are required, and a $20 suggested donation supports the gathering.
Gundam Card Game: Constructed
Entry is $7. Each participant receives one pack with entry. Achieving a 3-0 result grants one extra pack, and a 4-0 result grants two extra packs.
Kirwan's Game Store (Catskill)Loss & Grief Workshop
This workshop offers a supportive space to reflect on loss and grief, both individually and with others, guided by Reverend Trudi Hirsch-Abramson. The session explores ways of navigating difficult, life-changing moments and introduces practical tools such as visualization and simple breathing practices that may help. Reverend Trudi is a Zen Buddhist priest with decades of service as a hospital chaplain in New York City, a former faculty member at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, and recently retired as Chaplain Supervisor at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She also teaches programs on death and dying, grief and loss, aging, mask work, internal movement, spiritual art, pranayama, and meditation. Registration is necessary.
