Designed for ages 7 to 14, this Minecraft session at Dobbs Ferry Public Library invites players into a Greek mythology adventure. Hunt for altars honoring the gods in a themed world, venture across all three levels of the Underworld while battling mythical foes, and showcase building skills by creating shrines, coliseums, and other classical structures. The session is led by Arrayscape Gaming. Participants should bring their own device, or inform the library during registration if that is not possible. Registration is required and can be completed through the Children’s Room, by email, or by phone. This program is supported by the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Library.

Westchester County Center hosts a large sports collecting show featuring 500 tables of sports cards, memorabilia, and hobby dealers. On-site authentication and grading are available throughout the weekend from JSA, CAS, and CGC. Daily admission is $15, and children under 12 are admitted free with an adult. All admission tickets, including early access options, are sold only on the day of the show and must be paid in cash. A free autograph guest is included with paid admission on the weekend. Autograph tickets are sold at the event and can be purchased with cash or credit card.

Practice blending scents, building layers of color, and adding decorative touches such as dried botanicals, shells, or wax shapes. You will create two handmade candles that are both practical and display worthy, ideal for gifting or enhancing your own space. Candles typically need about 90 minutes to set. They can be left for pickup after they harden or the next day, and there is a way to speed up the process if taking them home right after the workshop is preferred.
