Additional finalists are determined from age groups over 65 and not yet 70, over 70 and not yet 75, and over 75, based on the highest three game totals among those who did not make the top ten. The 16 qualifiers then drop their qualifying pins and bowl one game, with the top two from each pair advancing to create a field of eight. Those eight drop pins again and bowl one game, and the top two from each pair advance to make four finalists. The final four drop pins and bowl to decide first through fourth place.
