The Rome City Men’s Amateur Golf Championship is a 36-hole stroke play tournament for eligible male golfers with amateur status and an official USGA handicap. There are multiple flights, including Senior (50+) and Super Senior (65+) divisions. The event has been running since 1963, and there’s no residency requirement for participants.

Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo transforms into a Neverland themed adventure featuring character meet and greets throughout the day. The Tinker Fairy and the Mermaid of Neverland’s Blue Lagoon will greet guests at the entrance and make periodic appearances at the stages and gazebo. Character entertainment is provided by Cait’s Character Corner, returning for a second year, offering family fun with pirates, fairies, and mermaids.

Returning for its fifth year, Freya Fest features psychic, tarot and intuitive readers alongside vendors, healers, tattoos, food trucks, and more. The celebration takes place at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY and also marks the opening of the brand new COVET Metaphysical store in historic Bagg’s Square.
