Live music in Athens, OH

Concerts on the Green features an open-air performance by the OHIO String Ensemble at the West Portico of Ohio University’s College Green. This weekly series spotlights a different ensemble in a scenic campus setting and highlights the arts at Ohio University. The program is presented by the OHIO Performing Arts Series, Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts, and the OHIO School of Music, with support from the Ohio Arts Council and Envisage Wealth.

At The Side Bar, Fine Business, the duo of Angela Opell and John Wetzel, offers a free performance of American roots music delivered with wit and style. Their harmonizing voices, paired with clarinet and guitar, span classic country, folk rock, and blues for a relaxed set. All wines are half off.
