Oh Happy Rea The Plant Shop marks its first year with a festive Plant-aversary. Highlights include an all day plant swap, select buy one get one 50 percent off offers throughout the shop, light refreshments, and raffle prizes. Since then he has continued to connect with audiences through original music and commanding performances. This show in downtown Fostoria highlights his distinctive style for a night of live music.

The inaugural Fostoria Bills Youth Football Golf Scramble at Fostoria Country Club raises funds to keep the youth program affordable for families while covering essentials like insurance, referee fees, and concessions. Every contribution supports player safety and quality on the field by funding new helmets, reconditioning existing equipment, and providing shoulder pads and uniforms. Team entry is $300 for a four-person scramble, or $75 per golfer, and includes 18 holes, a cart, and lunch with drinks. On-course contests include Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt, and early payment secures a team’s spot. Those not playing can still contribute through sponsorships, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze hole options or an exclusive cart sponsor opportunity, as well as by donating raffle prizes, gift cards, or gift baskets. Explore the power of your own voice, the instrument you carry everywhere. This welcoming singing workshop creates space for creative self-expression and confidence through song. All levels are welcome, and no prior experience is required.

A relaxed, weekly group ride rolls out from Emory Adams Park with Making Miles Matter and local cyclists. It suits a range of goals, from preparing for the Hancock Horizontal Hundred to easing back into riding or simply enjoying company on two wheels, and everyone is welcome to set a comfortable pace. The route and season influence how long the group is out, and the aim is to finish before nightfall. Helmets are strongly encouraged, and lights are a smart addition when daylight fades. Sharing the Tuesday Shop Ride on Facebook each week earns an entry into the Hancock Horizontal Hundred 2026 raffle, with entries tracked when you attend the ride. Sharing across multiple weeks increases the chances to win, and additional ways to earn entries and prizes will be announced during the season. Prize winners do not need to be present at the Hancock Horizontal Hundred this year to receive raffle items.

After a strong turnout last year, the Ice Cream Social returns, hosted by UrbanWoody Brewery, to benefit the Fostoria Area Historical Society. It coincides with Fostoria Athletics’ Meet the Team Night, bringing sweet treats and a friendly, community-focused atmosphere. A simple mix of flavors and fun supports the Fostoria Area Historical Society.

Get moving with a welcoming six-week ballroom series created for adults. Each weekly session spotlights a single smooth dance with built-in review, making it a comfortable fit whether you are starting from scratch or refreshing past skills. The Smooth Pack covers Waltz, American Tango, Foxtrot, and Foxy. No partner or prior experience is required, so you can participate solo or attend with a dance partner. Participants must be 18 or older. Couples receive a $10 discount at registration. Tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable. MCPA may cancel a class, and if that happens a refund will be provided.

Designed for dancers ready to advance their technique, this four-week Rumba class dives into the dance’s mechanics, movement, and signature style. Instruction emphasizes solidifying core fundamentals while sharpening musicality and overall presentation. Partners are optional, so individuals may take part solo or with a partner. Couple registrations receive a $10 discount. Open to adults 18 and older. Tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable. MCPA reserves the right to cancel a class, with refunds provided if a cancellation occurs.

Enjoy a fun-filled 2-hour boat cruise featuring a buffet lunch, music, and dancing. After the cruise, there’s also a sweet shop stop at Mitchell’s Famous Ice Cream. The cost is $159 per person.

Designed for families with infants and toddlers, Tiny Tots Playtime offers a welcoming space where little ones can play and explore while parents connect with one another. It provides an easy way to share the challenges of parenting with others who understand, all while the children enjoy time together. Participation is included with admission.

Rides & Root Beer at Miller’s Root Beer Stand brings together classic cars, food, and community support. Attendees can admire vintage vehicles or participate by bringing their own ride. A 50/50 raffle will benefit Pierce’s Crew Foundation, one of the local nonprofits Miller’s is partnering with for this event.
