Every Sunday, the Columbus Museum of Art offers free general admission through support from Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All and donors to the Free for the Future Campaign. Entry to special exhibitions is included, so you can wander the Walter Wing, collaborate on a gallery puzzle, and share the experience with friends and family. Turn recycled toilet paper rolls and paper into charming mushroom decorations for the fall in a relaxed craft session. Creation Station offers free art classes that welcome all ages and abilities. You may bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while you create. No registration is needed, and you can drop in at any time. Participation is free, with donations appreciated. This series is supported by United Way of North Central Ohio.

A welcoming space for like-minded women in Central Ohio to connect, share stories about motherhood, womanhood, values, and everyday life, and find support. While children enjoy the kids’ space, mothers can sip freshly brewed herbal tea, chat, ask questions, build community, and make friends.

Fruity Tales is a VeggieTales-inspired drag show hosted by The Lady Perez, featuring a cast of performers and a special storytime reading. The show benefits LOVEboldly, and a ticket is required for admission.

Celebrate the season with a two-day lineup of festive activities at Mt. Gilead State Park Nature Center. The opening evening features a cozy fireside reading of A Charlie Brown Christmas by Rec Aide Clarissa, with seating available and marshmallows provided. A screening of A Charlie Brown Christmas [1965], rated TV-G, follows at the outdoor amphitheater. For comfort, consider bug spray, comfortable clothing, snacks or refreshments, and a blanket or chair. Activities continue with fun based in Shelter House 1 unless noted. An all-day camp scavenger hunt leads participants around the campground, the camp store, and the Nature Center, with checklists and supplies available in the camp store during store hours and small participation prizes available there. A guided Spider Hunt Hike shares the folktale behind the tinsel on your tree while participants search for hidden “spiders” along the path. Dress for the weather, wear close-toed shoes, and meet at the Nature Center. Creative time includes writing letters to Santa, crafting homemade ornaments, and adding messages to a poster for the Senior Center to share holiday wishes. Additional activities include Holiday Bingo with supplies and prizes provided, family-friendly games with prizes, an ugly sweater contest with a holiday prize and bragging rights, and holiday karaoke open to all ages. Campsite decoration judging adds to the festivities, and the night wraps up with a showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas [1966]. Seating is available for the movie, and attendees may want bug spray, comfortable clothes, snacks or refreshments, and a blanket or chair.

Ohio State Buckeyes Football takes on Oregon Ducks Football at Ohio Stadium. Children under 2 are admitted free but must sit on an adult’s lap. Bags are generally not permitted, with exceptions for medical bags, diaper bags, and clutches no larger than 8 x 5 x 1 inches. Guests carrying permitted bags must use designated entrances for screening.

A 5K timed run and untimed walk supporting colorectal cancer awareness. Colorectal cancer patients and survivors can register for free. The program also includes a kids’ fun run, an opening ceremony with team awards, and a closing ceremony with runner awards.

Explore creative thinking through hands-on experimentation with a wide range of materials and supplies. Monthly themes draw inspiration from special exhibitions and art on view, inviting visitors of all ages to think and make like artists. The first Saturday session each month is reserved for members, and a quieter hour is intended to offer a calmer experience for visitors with sensory sensitivities.

Enjoy a Dr. Seuss-themed skating party. Admission includes a Dr. Seuss bookmark, and skate rental is available for an additional fee. Guests ages 3–17 must pay admission and rent skates or bring their own. Non-skating adults may enter at no charge. All people who skate, including adults and parents of skating children, must complete an online waiver and show the signed waiver confirmation at admission.

Colony Cats (& dogs) will have cats and kittens available for adoption at Petco Upper Arlington. The cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and dewormed. Adoptions require an approved application.
