Free events in Galion, OH

This free community meal is open to everyone with no cost. It provides an easygoing space to share food, get to know neighbors, and build friendships in a friendly, inclusive setting. Whether attending solo, with family, or with a friend, there is a seat for everyone at the table.

Create a matte snail painting, then add a glossy mod podge trail for a raised, three-dimensional finish. This Creation Station class welcomes participants of every age and skill level and is offered in a drop-in format with no registration required. Attendance is free, with donations appreciated. You may bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while you create. The series is supported by the United Way of North Central Ohio.

An event centered on distributing food is scheduled at Lucas Community Center.

Enjoy a lively barn dance with swinging music from the Back Porch Swing Band. Admission is free for everyone. Park at the visitors center and take a short walk down the lane to the event. Beverages are available, with water for $1 and soda for $2, cash only.
