Set on the golf range at Beavercreek Golf Club, this stop in Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture’s Summer Entertainment Series features Jukebox Apocalypse playing crowd-pleasing rock favorites from the 70s, 80s and beyond. The series offers six free community events filled with music, dancing and good vibes at venues across Beavercreek. For added comfort, attendees may want to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Toad-ally Together returns with a free, drop-in program created in partnership with Greene County Parks & Trails and the Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities to bring kids and families of all abilities together for backyard fun. This gathering spotlights a Lilo & Stitch theme with games, crafts, and activities inspired by the beloved blue alien and his Hawaiian friends. The atmosphere encourages friendship, laughter, and inclusion while celebrating what makes each person unique, and nobody is left out. Ohana means family, and everyone is welcome. An adult or guardian is required to remain during the program.

This build night is designed for special needs families to enjoy LEGO activities together in a community room. Children can practice social skills while constructing their own creations. Several tables stocked with bulk LEGO provide space to build and chat, and siblings can connect with others who also have a brother or sister with special needs. The building is wheelchair accessible. Lighting cannot be dimmed or covered. Finished models can be taken home for $1 per ounce, otherwise the bricks are returned to bins for sanitizing. This program is offered at the Kettering location only. There is also a Family Bingo Build Night open to all ages.

Popcorn and an activity will be provided in limited quantities. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets or chairs for comfortable seating. Outside food and drinks are permitted, but alcohol is not allowed.

Now in its 55th year, DAI Oktoberfest brings together live music, family-friendly activities, skilled artisans, plenty of food, a Weingarten, and over 50 craft and international beers. It is one of two flagship events presented by the DAI Associate Board, a volunteer body of 35 pairs who serve four-year terms and help deliver the museum’s two largest fundraisers. This edition is chaired by Briana Snyder and Max Spang, with co-chairs Randi Salyer-Frazier and Tyler Frazier. Tickets are on sale now.
