    The MSPIB Farmers Market features live music as part of a special event sponsored by WesBanco Portsmouth Banking Center. The performance is included in the America 250 Celebration and aligns with Ohio’s September focus on Ohio Plays, Sports and Wellness. It is also the final Market Prize Wheel Day in a five day series. During Market Prize Wheel Day, two free raffles will award $25 in market vouchers. Participants need to be present to enter, but do not need to be present to win. The Scioto County Commissioners sponsor Scioto Bucks, with $200 distributed for use with any vendor, and UK King’s Daughters Medical Center along with Southern Ohio Medical Center sponsor Healthy Bucks, with another $200 given out. Children and seniors receive a complimentary spin of the prize wheel, and shoppers who make a purchase from a vendor earn a spin as well. Prizes may include Healthy Bucks, Scioto Bucks, tote bags, T shirts, Jet’s Gourmet Popcorn, and more. The market follows Ohio Cottage Industry Rules. Vendor spaces are reserved for the season, and interested vendors can request to be added to a waiting list by submitting an application. The MSPIB Farmers Market is sponsored by the Scioto County Commissioners.
