A signature weekend at Riffel’s Camp & Float Adventures brings a relaxed, creekside celebration to Camp Dix, Kentucky, honoring Lewis County pioneer Larkin Liles, whose resting place is on the property. As part of the Creek Music Series, this two-day festival pairs live performances with camping along Kinniconick Creek for a friendly, community-focused experience. Look for different bands each night, a variety of food trucks, and lawn seating, and plan to bring chairs for comfort. Evenings feature campfires with live music beneath the stars. Both full hookup and primitive camping options are offered, and campers receive access to both nights of music. One-day and weekend passes are available. The location is an easy weekend trip from Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington, and Huntington.

Reflections in Color presents a solo showcase by award winning artist Michelle Ward Ciancio at Grayson Gallery & Art Center, combining visual art with live music in a setting centered on creativity, self expression, and shared storytelling through paint. The exhibition highlights original pieces distinguished by bold color, emotional resonance, and narrative detail. Attendees can explore and purchase originals and prints, talk with the artist about her creative process, enjoy refreshments alongside a welcoming community atmosphere, and experience a live set from Corduroy Brown. Admission is free and open to the public.

Enjoy live music while you browse, and pick up refreshments from Two Chics Coffee, Sadie Janes Lemonade, and So Loaded. Expect a welcoming marketplace atmosphere highlighting community talent and unique finds.

The MSPIB Farmers Market features live music as part of a special event sponsored by WesBanco Portsmouth Banking Center. The performance is included in the America 250 Celebration and aligns with Ohio’s September focus on Ohio Plays, Sports and Wellness. It is also the final Market Prize Wheel Day in a five day series. During Market Prize Wheel Day, two free raffles will award $25 in market vouchers. Participants need to be present to enter, but do not need to be present to win. The Scioto County Commissioners sponsor Scioto Bucks, with $200 distributed for use with any vendor, and UK King’s Daughters Medical Center along with Southern Ohio Medical Center sponsor Healthy Bucks, with another $200 given out. Children and seniors receive a complimentary spin of the prize wheel, and shoppers who make a purchase from a vendor earn a spin as well. Prizes may include Healthy Bucks, Scioto Bucks, tote bags, T shirts, Jet’s Gourmet Popcorn, and more. The market follows Ohio Cottage Industry Rules. Vendor spaces are reserved for the season, and interested vendors can request to be added to a waiting list by submitting an application.
