Gem City Pinball League gathers at Canal Street Arcade and Deli for a structured, friendly competition that runs for eight weeks of regular play followed by two nights of finals. Registration is $20 per session, with coin drop each week. Weekly play places participants in groups of three or four to compete on four randomly selected machines, with points awarded by finish order and matchups rotating so you play alongside different members. League nights take place on Mondays, with most holidays and off-session weeks excluded, and any other exceptions communicated to members. Consistent participation is important. There are no make up weeks, though the lowest weekly score is dropped from the season total. Missing three weeks leads to removal from that season’s rankings and ineligibility for finals, with possible exceptions at the discretion of league operators when notified promptly for valid reasons. If removed, players may still attend for the remainder of the season, but scores will not be recorded, and a return as an official participant can happen next season if space allows. Finals placement is determined by an overall season cutoff that assigns players to either A or B finals, and everyone qualifies for one of these tournaments.
