Enjoy Motown and funk from BopMan on the North Phelps Stage, and take in literary readings presented by Lit Youngstown, with Sydney Stalnecker and James Desharnais sharing the words of Walt Whitman. The evening features a Walk of Fame induction on the West Federal Stage, followed by a set from the Jam-Hi Band, and YO!Nights at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre featuring No Funk No Justice. Steel Valley Woofstock 9 is a fun-filled evening celebrating Peace, Paws, Love, and Music at W.D. Packard Music Hall. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the event runs through 10:30 PM. Dire Straits Legacy presents the music of Dire Straits with an ensemble that includes musicians who recorded and toured with the band, joined by world class players. The performance includes the group’s most recognizable hits alongside new songs from the album 3 Chord Trick, produced by Alan Clark and Phil Palmer, plus a few surprises.
