Raised in a musical family and inspired by Elvis from a young age, he won the popular vote in a high school talent show at 17, then moved into larger venues as club owners took notice. Since his start in 1997, he has performed nationwide to frequent sellouts, attracted national media attention, and accepted an invitation to perform for the U.S. Embassy in Algiers. After a Louisiana show, he drew praise from guitarist James Burton. His dedication to preserving the music led to induction into the International Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame in 2019. Rascal Unit brings affordable spay and neuter and basic wellness care to the Wayne County Humane Society as part of its mobile program serving pet owners across Ohio in partnership with humane organizations, pounds, and shelters. This clinic is one of four visits planned for 2026. Current registration status indicates that dogs and female cats are full, while male cat registration remains open. Registration opens one month before each clinic date and must be completed online, with links shared 30 days in advance on the Wayne County Humane Society website and Facebook page. There is a $25 WCHS administrative fee per animal registered. Surgery pricing for 2026 includes dog spay or neuter at $130 for all sizes, with a $10 fee if in heat or pregnant, $65 for cryptorchid inguinal, and $130 for cryptorchid abdominal. 10,000 Maniacs bring a storied alternative rock legacy to the stage, shaped by more than four decades of poetic writing, lush melodies, and memorable concerts. Formed in Jamestown, New York in 1981, the group evolved from indie origins to platinum success, selling over 10 million records and helping define the genre. Their breakthrough came with 1987’s In My Tribe, which spent 77 weeks on the charts and featured “Like the Weather” and “What’s the Matter Here?”. They followed with the platinum albums Blind Man’s Zoo and Our Time in Eden, home to favorites like “Trouble Me,” “Candy Everybody Wants,” and “These Are Days.” Their MTV Unplugged release, highlighted by “Because the Night,” surpassed four million copies and became a touchstone of 1990s music. The focus is on turning small steps and simple skills into lifesaving moments. Transport appointments are for spay or neuter, and while pets are at the clinic they can also receive vaccinations, microchipping, and SNAP combo testing. 9:24 CrossFit's Autumn Assault highlights fitness, teamwork, and spirited competition in a team-based CrossFit event. Athletes from the area face multiple workouts that test strength, conditioning, skill, strategy, and teamwork. Teams consist of four athletes, with two male and two female competitors. On a designated Wednesday, staff meet at the Wayne County Humane Society to pick up pets that are on the schedule, take them to AlterClinic for surgery, and return them to the same location for owners to collect later that day. Provide your information and your pet’s information to be placed on the transport list for the requested date, and a transport coordinator will call the week before to confirm details. Transport is for spay and neuter procedures only, with optional services available during the clinic visit such as vaccinations, microchipping, and SNAP combo testing.
