    Rescue Ready is a hands-on StillWonder pop-up designed for children ages 3 to 10, with families of all ages welcome. Young participants explore helper roles through interactive stations that foster problem solving and care. At Can You Diagnose, kids examine patients and practice identifying what might be wrong. The First Aid Practice Station introduces basic care and response skills in a child friendly setting. At the Operation Station, children explore tools and rescue themed play that build confidence, compassion, and real world readiness. Activities spark curiosity and creativity while weaving STEAM learning into playful exploration. The program takes place at the Horticulture Education Center at The Botanic Garden at Oklahoma State University and is part of StillWonder’s fourth Saturday pop-up series in the garden. Upon arrival, a parent or guardian signs in once per family and remains responsible for supervising children at all times. By attending, participants grant permission for photography, video, or audio recording that may be used by StillWonder for promotional, educational, or other lawful purposes without compensation or prior review. Participation may involve physical movement and interaction with exhibits, which carry some risk, and attendance indicates acceptance of these risks on behalf of the child. Volunteer opportunities are available for this event through the organizer.
