    Stress Management Kundalini Yoga

    New Cumberland · 300 3rd St

Settle into a soothing blend of Kundalini practices designed to ease stress and gently re-pattern unhelpful habits. This all-levels class, welcoming to beginners, brings together mindful movement, meditation, targeted breathwork, and an immersive soundscape. Live chanting and instruments such as harmonium, shruti box, rattles, bells, crystal and Tibetan bowls, Native American flutes, and resonant gongs enrich the experience and support deep relaxation and clarity. Guided by longtime practitioner and teacher Jaque Hanson, the session offers practical tools for steadiness, resilience, and self-awareness. Inspired by the SuperHealth approach recognized by NAADAC and accredited by the Joint Commission, the curriculum draws on precise yogic therapeutic techniques used to address stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, and patterns connected with addictions, including alcohol, drugs, smoking, eating disorders, gambling, co-dependency, overworking, shopping, and technology use. Participants navigating challenges with flexibility, range of motion, posture, sleep, circulation, tingling sensations, sexual wellness, or bladder function will find gentle, supportive practices in a warm and nonjudgmental setting. Yin Yoga principles are also referenced as a quiet path to release and ease for body and mind. Often called the Yoga of Awareness, Kundalini practices aim to fortify the nervous system, balance the glandular system, and cultivate sustainable relaxation and discipline. The class centers on a direct, empowering experience of the Self, along with insights that carry into everyday life. Pricing options are available, including a 10-class card for $160, a 5-class card for $97, or a single-class drop in for $22.

    Yin Yoga

New Cumberland · Lakshmi Studio, 300 3rd St

Settle into a calm, unhurried Yin Yoga class that invites stillness and gentle awareness. Suitable for every experience level, especially newcomers, this practice is held at Lakshmi Studio with entry at the back. Rather than emphasizing muscular effort, the session centers on longer, supported holds and steady breath to nourish connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, tendons, joints, and bones. This approach complements more active styles of exercise by encouraging mobility that can endure beyond a single workout. Many participants turn to Yin Yoga to support flexibility, posture, stress relief, sleep, circulation, fatigue, tingling sensations, and aspects of sexual or bladder health. By engaging the nervous and endocrine systems and allowing tension to ease, the practice can help foster hormonal and emotional balance. Props and modifications are offered so each pose feels accessible, and time in stillness helps you leave feeling refreshed and more at ease. Classes are guided by Suzie, who teaches Kundalini and Yin Yoga and focuses on mindful movement and breath to support nervous system regulation, relaxation, inner awareness, and a sense of renewal. Pricing options include a 10-class card for $160, a 5-class card for $97, and a $22 drop-in.

    Thermography Sessions

    Mechanicsburg · 5000 Lenker St

Thermal imaging offers a painless, non-invasive way to view vascular changes by detecting blood flow patterns, inflammation, and asymmetries. While mammography focuses on anatomical changes such as masses or lumps, thermography provides a complementary perspective. Used alongside breast self exams, physician exams, ultrasound, and mammography, it contributes to an early detection approach. Every body is unique, and thermograms can benefit men and women by helping with early identification of inflammation in the body. They can also highlight concerns such as arthritis, back and neck pain, dental issues, sinus issues and headaches, immune dysfunction, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, thyroid dysfunction, sources of pain, heart disease prevention, and carotid artery inflammation. Happie Soul Wellness is hosting Guardian Thermography, LLC, and Arlene will be on-site providing sessions by appointment only. To schedule, text or call 610-554-6387.
