Manticore brings a faithful celebration of Emerson, Lake & Palmer to the stage, led by three veteran musicians, Rob Shepard, Ron Ponella, and John Cristando. Since the 2016 passing of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake, the band has been performing throughout East Coast theaters and arts centers, channeling the intensity of ELP’s live shows while carefully recreating the detail of the original studio recordings. Regina Lake, widow of Greg Lake, has praised their performance as outstanding and strikingly close to Greg’s own. Honoring the groundbreaking group that blended the force of rock with classical intricacy, this tribute aims to capture the immersive spirit that captivated audiences.
