This weekend in Lebanon, PA

South Hills Park hosts an annual softball tournament benefiting the South Lebanon Fire Department, the department’s biggest fundraiser, bringing teams and the community together for a day of friendly competition and fun. Team registration is available with limited openings in both the First Responder Division and the Open Tournament Division. Spectators are welcome to enjoy fire apparatus displays, meet the volunteer firefighters, ask questions, and explore the equipment that events like this help purchase and maintain. Food trucks, 50/50 drawings, and raffle prizes round out the festivities. Proceeds support the department’s equipment, training, and resources, strengthening service to South Lebanon Township and neighboring mutual aid partners.

Celebrate the Central PA Tool Library with a ribbon cutting and the unveiling of the building’s mural. Explore the facility during an open house with tours and opportunities to learn more about the organization. The ribbon cutting takes place as part of the celebration.

Manheim Sertoma’s fourth annual car show will be at Elstonville Sportsmens Assoc, welcoming cars, street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Pre-registration is a $15 donation and day-of-show registration is $20, and the event runs rain or shine. The day includes music, a photo booth, coffee and donuts, a food wagon, and Kreider’s ice cream, with barbecue dinners available for pre-purchase on the vehicle registration form. Attendees can enjoy door prizes throughout the day along with a raffle, silent auction items, and fifty sponsor awards. Proceeds benefit Hope Served, Manheim Community Life Group, Mt Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, and Manheim Sertoma.
