Expect multiple rounds with breaks, a prize wheel, and recognition for the winning team.

Mt. Gretna Hideaway hosts a weekly general trivia night with Cheaters Never Prosper at the helm. Participants can vie for gift cards as prizes while enjoying good food and spirited competition.

Adventurer's Hollow’s drop-in Dungeons and Dragons night uses the 5e core rules and is built so participants can attend even if they come infrequently. The shared world evolves with player decisions from week to week, and with at least three full tables each week it changes a lot between sessions. Players receive a special event token each session that can be used later to level up the character they are playing or a new character. Information is provided to help create new characters, and Game Masters are available to assist. New players are welcome in a friendly, supportive setting. A seat at the table is $5, and if $10 or more is spent in the shop on items like food, drinks, dice, or merchandise, that $5 is returned as credit.

Connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts at a relaxed gathering focused on making and conversation. Participants are welcome to work on knitting, crochet, cross stitch, quilting, weaving, or any other fiber arts projects while spending time with others who share their interests. There is no fee to take part.

South Hills Park hosts an annual softball tournament benefiting the South Lebanon Fire Department, the department’s biggest fundraiser, bringing teams and the community together for a day of friendly competition and fun. Team registration is available with limited openings in both the First Responder Division and the Open Tournament Division. Spectators are welcome to enjoy fire apparatus displays, meet the volunteer firefighters, ask questions, and explore the equipment that events like this help purchase and maintain. Food trucks, 50/50 drawings, and raffle prizes round out the festivities. Proceeds support the department’s equipment, training, and resources, strengthening service to South Lebanon Township and neighboring mutual aid partners.

Celebrate the Central PA Tool Library with a ribbon cutting and the unveiling of the building’s mural. Explore the facility during an open house with tours and opportunities to learn more about the organization. The ribbon cutting takes place as part of the celebration.

Manheim Sertoma’s fourth annual car show will be at Elstonville Sportsmens Assoc, welcoming cars, street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Pre-registration is a $15 donation and day-of-show registration is $20, and the event runs rain or shine. The day includes music, a photo booth, coffee and donuts, a food wagon, and Kreider’s ice cream, with barbecue dinners available for pre-purchase on the vehicle registration form. Attendees can enjoy door prizes throughout the day along with a raffle, silent auction items, and fifty sponsor awards. Proceeds benefit Hope Served, Manheim Community Life Group, Mt Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, and Manheim Sertoma. The Jewett Brothers Band takes the stage for a live performance. A complete bar will be available, and complimentary parking can be found behind the building.

Rooted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Hammer Creek is a bluegrass band that preserves tradition while embracing the music's ongoing evolution. Their music pays tribute to pioneers such as Flatt and Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, and Bill Monroe, and it also reflects the transitional influence of Del McCoury and J. D. Crowe. Performances feature propulsive banjo, rich harmonies, and a high, lonesome vocal style, with songs that evoke simpler times and keep the heart of bluegrass alive.

Participants bring a book of their choice and greet fellow readers with a simple nod. Then everyone settles in for two hours of quiet, lightly social reading time.

Designed for youth readers, this new fantasy-focused book club explores middle grade and young adult stories chosen by the members themselves. Participants suggest titles, vote on upcoming reads, and meet to talk about what they have read. The kickoff meet-up uses a friendly show and tell format so everyone can connect and share the kinds of books they enjoy, and attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite fantasy novel if they have a copy. One early selection is set in advance, Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief. After that, the group will decide future picks together.

Aphrodite's Library Book Club brings fans of steamy stories together for a monthly gathering at The Haunted Whimsy Bookstore. Each meeting features a lively discussion of a spicy romance selection, and exclusive merchandise is available only during the club. This session spotlights The Fall Affair by Vi Keeland.
