Healthy Babies, Happy Moms offers a breastfeeding class designed to equip expectant parents with practical knowledge and supportive instruction so they can start their feeding journey with assurance. It is especially helpful during the third trimester, and partners are encouraged to participate as part of the support team. Led by an experienced lactation team in East Greenwich, the session creates a welcoming setting to ask questions, practice hands-on techniques, and prepare for the first days and weeks with a newborn. Topics include the benefits of breastfeeding, prenatal breast assessment, how milk production works, comfortable positioning and breast support, infant suck patterns and achieving a comfortable latch, and common challenges that can affect both baby and mother. Registration is required, group size is kept small for a more personal experience, and the fee is 75 dollars per couple.

During the performance, canned goods and other non perishable items will be collected to benefit the Blackstone Valley Food Center and its work to reduce hunger in the Blackstone Valley.
