At Pickleball Kingdom Belle Hall, this tournament features two ways to compete. Players can enter a Minor League Pickleball team event or sign up for men’s or women’s doubles, and it is possible to do both. Divisions require an even number of teams. If the final team to register creates an odd total, that team will be placed on a waitlist until another team signs up. If no additional team registers, a full refund will be issued. Fees are $65 per player for the MiLP team event and $60 per player for doubles. Players who also register for MiLP receive a $20 per person discount on the doubles entry and can contact the tournament director for the coupon code. The Minor League Pickleball format uses teams of four, two women and two men. Each match includes four games to 21 points, one women’s doubles, one men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. If the match is tied 2 to 2, it goes to a Dreambreaker tiebreaker with rotating singles every four rallies until one side reaches 21 and wins by two.

At Fort Johnson, SC7 and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources offer an easy educational program centered on living shorelines. Attendees explore how nature-based features such as oyster reef structures and marsh grasses are used to protect and restore South Carolina’s coast. Participants get an up-close look at an ongoing restoration effort and learn how these habitats help secure shorelines, enhance water quality, support coastal wildlife, and build resilience to erosion and changing environmental conditions. Conservation professionals share insights into the science, benefits, and long-term outcomes of these projects across the state. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is recognized as the honorary team for the day.
