    Crow Party

Ooltewah · Katie Lamb Public Library, 9318 Apison Pike

This activity replaces the Adult Craft offering for the month and welcomes adults and older teens ages 16 and up. Inspired by crows and their well known love of treasures, it is a warm, creativity filled get together for collectors, makers, and anyone drawn to sparkly finds. Participants may wear black clothing and, if they wish, add crow themed accents such as feathers, feather jewelry, or other dark, dramatic accessories. Bringing a few small shiny or interesting trinkets to swap with others is encouraged so everyone can discover new treasures to take home. The gathering centers on hands on making, with projects that include crafting bookmarks, folding origami boxes, and other playful paper activities. Snacks and beverages, background music, and friendly conversation with fellow treasure seekers round out the experience in a relaxed library setting.
