Young Gamers’ Guild presents single session Dungeons & Dragons adventures created for young players. Participants practice strategy, learn to debate ideas, and collaborate as a team to complete a shared objective. Seating is limited, so preregistration is encouraged. If there are open spots, parents may participate at no cost on a first come, first served basis. A parent form is available for those planning to run errands while their child plays. Each week, leaving a comment on the weekly post earns two extra pulls from the Treasure Trove, bringing the total to four. The Treasure Trove is a vending machine filled with small prizes that include in-game perks, complimentary drinks, and discounts on select physical items.

Experience the garden by tram across 96 acres, with a new theme featured each month, included with standard admission. Trams run roughly every 25 minutes, with timing adjusted based on attendance and other happenings. Boarding is on a first-come basis and service pauses during rain. Look for the tram tours waiting area just outside and to the right of Four Seasons Court to hop aboard. No sign-up is needed. Groups can arrange a private one-hour tram tour via Adult Group Programs. This free Senior Expo at Memphis Botanic Garden brings together local organizations that support older adults and their families. It offers opportunities to learn about services and resources, along with prize drawings, refreshments, and health screenings.

Get help covering laundry costs at Suds Laundry, now Ellie's Laundry. Bring your unwashed items and everything else is provided, including payment for the machines, detergent, and dryer sheets. Service is offered without questions and with a caring approach. Please do not preload machines or block paying customers while waiting. Wait to receive tickets and guidance from a Laundry Love representative before selecting a machine. To assist as many families as possible, there is a limit of four tickets per family. Ticket values are as follows: 6 to 8 load washers require three tickets, and 2 to 4 load washers require one ticket. If additional tickets remain after families are served, extras may be distributed as available.

To support COVID-19 precautions, meals are served by staff from behind the service area on disposable dinnerware, and the menu may change based on availability. Parking is off site and typically involves an 8 to 10 minute walk from the nearest lot, which is not operated by the cruise provider. There is no set dress code, and guests often choose casual to semi-formal attire.

Designed for grandparents, this class in Classroom ABC at the Women's Hospital offers a helpful refresher on caregiving. Beautiful Beginnings nurses lead sessions on car seats, infant sleep, and overall safety with the goal of renewing confidence and up to date skills. Parking is free. To find the room, enter the Women's Hospital, turn left down the main hallway, pass Admissions, take the first hallway on the right, then go to the second door on the left.

The first annual Paws & More Paws Dog Expo brings a citywide celebration of dogs to Memphis. Expect a mix of pet lovers, rescue groups, vendors, pet service providers, skilled groomers, and local food trucks, creating a lively atmosphere focused on all things canine. Businesses and organizations can participate, including dog groomers, veterinarians, pet-focused retailers, service providers, food trucks, and sponsors. Exhibitors can showcase their offerings, connect with thousands of pet enthusiasts, and be part of Memphis’s newest pet-friendly expo. The event is set for the Raleigh Civic Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

Enrollment is open for fall dance classes at Children’s Ballet Theater in East Memphis, with options in ballet, tap, musical theater, jazz, pointework, modern, and contemporary. Classes are available for ages 2 and a half through 18, as well as adults. Experienced, supportive teachers lead instruction in a warm and welcoming setting. Students also have opportunities to perform in Clara & the Nutcracker and to take part in spring recitals.

B-Side Memphis hosts Memphis Reggae Nights featuring Iyah Sypha, an artist who hails from Kingston, spent time in New York, and now calls Memphis home. Jamaican jerk chicken will be served with a selection of sides, and the menu is vegan friendly. This event welcomes families.
