Figure Drawing (Long Pose)

Spend focused studio time at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art with a figure drawing session built around a single two-hour pose, giving artists of every experience level the chance to study the human form in depth. A local artist facilitates the session, and a live model holds extended poses. Participants may bring personal drawing supplies, while free drawing boards, pencils, and pens are available. Charcoal and pastels are not permitted. Tickets are $18, or $12 for museum members. Students under 18 must provide a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Support from museum members helps make these programs possible, and members receive free daily admission along with discounts of up to 50 percent on ticketed events. This education series is sponsored by First Horizon.
