Now in its 15th year, the Border Latch is a worldwide gathering where mothers come together with their babies and family members to promote breastfeeding, highlight its importance, and raise awareness about the risks of formula feeding. This free, welcoming activity is open to everyone and features music, snacks, and a friendly community spirit. Attendees will find health information, enjoy giveaways, and take part in raffles, including chances to receive breast pumps.

Led by WE HIKE, this session of Gear Up & Go is part of a three part summer program that builds confidence and essential outdoor skills for exploring the Borderland’s desert and mountain environments. The first is a Local Business Meetup and Taco Tuesday at American Legion Post 58 with $1 tacos during the event and beverages available for purchase. The second is 1 Million Cups El Paso at the Cardwell Collaborative, where early stage founders share short presentations, the audience collaborates through open Q&A to tackle growth bottlenecks, and coffee is provided at no cost.
