Now in its fourteenth year, this Kolache Fest 5K welcomes both runners and walkers on a 5K course. The event is hosted by the Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture.

The Central Texas Walk for Apraxia brings the community together at Dunbar Park for a free event that celebrates Apraxia Stars and raises awareness of childhood apraxia of speech. The experience is planned with safety, fun, and lasting memories in mind, and additional details are expected closer to the event. Registration is free. Registered walkers can work toward individual fundraising incentives, and anyone who raises $50 earns this year’s official Walk for Apraxia t-shirt. Every registered Apraxia Star is honored individually and receives a complimentary shirt, medal, and certificate. Funds raised support the programs of Apraxia Kids, including education for families and professionals, community engagement and outreach, and efforts in advocacy and research. The walk connects parents, relatives, friends, and professionals in a supportive network where Apraxia Stars and their families feel understood. It is recognized as the country’s largest awareness event for apraxia, helping ensure more children can access the care and understanding they need.

Austin Street Market hosts a relaxed community marketplace where local vendors share fresh farm goods, handmade creations, baked treats, artisan products, and unique gifts in a covered, open-air setting. The selection changes regularly, offering something new to discover. Friends, families, and pups are welcome. Vendor opportunities are available, and farmers bringing produce, eggs, meat, honey, plants, or other farm goods can access free booth space.

A new pink-themed pumpkin patch and fall fest in the New Braunfels area offers a photo-friendly setting and seasonal fun. Explore vibrant pumpkin displays set around a standout pink barn and discover colorful mural backdrops for memorable snapshots. Families can ride a train and a classic carousel, enjoy the playground, and take part in a variety of activities. Snacks and food truck bites are available, and adults can sip beer and wine. The Texas Pancanal Society Picnic returns to Landa Park, Pavilion #16 in New Braunfels, Texas, continuing a five-year tradition at the same spot. This relaxed gathering provides a familiar park setting where attendees can reconnect and enjoy time together.

Shakedown takes the stage at Krause’s Cafe in New Braunfels with a lively mix of rock and soul, spinning well-known hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s plus a few country favorites. Enjoy classic German fare with a Texas twist alongside local craft brews while the dance floor stays busy all evening. There is no cover, and reservations are not required.

A retro-themed show featuring fUNNER and Rule the World, a tribute to Tears for Fears, takes place at Guadalupe Brewing Company & Pizza Kitchen. It marks fUNNER’s first performance at this venue. There is no cover charge, and the venue offers pizza and beer.

Songwriter Kady Rain leads an ongoing course series focused on being true to your voice as a creator. It takes place at Live In The Vibe San Marcos Sober Living Community in San Marcos, Texas, in partnership with Lonely Hearts Art Club. The environment is sober friendly and welcoming to those who are sober curious or respectful of a sober space. The series places intentional support on LGBTQIA+ and POC+ communities and is open to all ages. Be Authentic Now captures the spirit of the sessions, with Kady’s song Love Me Loud providing the background vibe.

New adventurers are welcome for a Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition campaign at Coliseum Trading Cards & Collectibles. Characters will start at level 5.
