Light and dance come together in a luminous retelling of Sleeping Beauty, where glowing costumes turn every step and spin into a radiant display. Guided by classical technique and enhanced with modern technology, the story unfolds through expressive choreography performed by six talented local dancers. Presented at Lindbergh Theatre, the event welcomes ages 5 and up, and attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The venue is ADA accessible. Seating is first come, first served within each zone, so arriving early is recommended. Multiple dates and times are available.

Set in the Pacific Northwest, the World Parrot Expo is the region’s largest event devoted to parrots and doubles as Flight Club Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Admission for the general public is free, and families can discover more than 50 live animals from around the world with plenty of opportunities to learn. The experience spans two floors featuring educational offerings from brands, knowledgeable experts, and, of course, lots of live parrots. A fundraising deep dive with speaker sessions is also available, and registration for those talks is fully tax deductible, supporting parrots in human care and global parrot resources. Registration is offered in early bird, regular, and late tiers, and the same options are open to sponsors and exhibitors. Earlier commitments unlock added benefits for sponsor and exhibitor partners. Spix Macaw level sponsors who contribute 2,000 dollars or more are listed on posters and can host a featured area such as the Parrots of the World aviary.

The evening offers great food, friendly company, and plenty of fun, with Bender from 95.7 The Jet co-hosting alongside auctioneer Tim Leahy. Some of the sanctuary’s most social, mobile animals will be there for meet-and-greets. All proceeds will directly benefit the animals, covering essentials such as nutrition, shelter, safety, and daily care. This beginner-friendly class introduces the Tarot and how to read it in a clear, approachable way. Topics include the system behind the cards, the lower Arcana with its four suits and their court cards, the Journey of the Fool in the higher Arcana, how to craft effective questions and whom to address them to, approaches to time-related questions, several card layouts, a sample reading by a professional, and practical steps to begin your own study. The session is theory-based and no one will be asked to perform a reading. There are no prerequisites. Tuition is $50. Enrollment is limited to nine participants. A spot is secured with a cash payment made at Aura Song Gifts, and that payment is nonrefundable. If plans change, contact Aura Song Gifts at least 10 days in advance to transfer to a different class. Transfers are not available within 10 days of the class, though you may give your place to another person. The organizers may cancel if fewer than three people enroll or due to emergency circumstances, and in that situation you can choose a refund or a transfer to another class. This recurring orientation for volunteers takes place on the second Tuesday and the fourth Wednesday of each month. Additional volunteer information is available.

Game days continue at Legacy Square with a watch party for the Seattle Seahawks facing the Washington Commanders. A pregame period features the futsal court open, yard games, and food and beverage options. The matchup will be screened and will wrap up with closing announcements. Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for seating. Smoking and vaping are not permitted, outside alcohol is not allowed, and tents are not permitted. Free 10-hour parking is available at the City Center Parking Garage.

Set aside ninety minutes devoted entirely to you with a soulful session focused on tapping into inner strength and calm. The experience features a full guided meditation led by instructor Tawanna, followed by mimosas to keep the relaxed energy flowing. A yoga mat is required. For added comfort, participants may bring a blanket or shawl for warmth, yoga blocks for support, and a pillow.
