    Kelso's long-standing celebration of Scottish heritage fills Tam O'Shanter Park with a weekend of Highland games, Celtic music, dance, and community spirit. Now in its 44th year and counted among the Pacific Northwest's enduring Highland gatherings, the festival features athletic competitions, performances by Beltaine and Wicked Tinkers, a Highland dance competition, a Parade of Clans, clan tents, a parade through downtown Kelso, a beer garden by Ashtown Brewing Company, food and craft vendors, a silent auction, and the Kelso Garden Club Flower Show. Admission and parking are free, and the atmosphere is welcoming for families. This city-sponsored celebration is organized entirely by volunteers and supported by sponsors.
