This weekend in Longview, WA

Motorcyclists will depart from the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice and ride to Elk Rock View Point near Mount St. Helens in a tribute to Deputy Justin DeRosier. This eighth annual memorial ride costs 20 dollars per rider and 10 dollars per passenger, and lunch is included. Participants can also enter raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing, with proceeds supporting a college scholarship created in his honor.

Papa Zuzu’s Pizza presents a relaxed karaoke night centered on easy, low-pressure fun. Voted number two for karaoke, it offers a playful place to sing with friends. The experience pairs with pizza that has taken home the gold and beverages to enjoy, creating a friendly, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on LEGO building session where participants can build, connect, and have fun at their own pace. All ages are welcome, with ages 13 and under attending with an adult. The event is hosted by Jamie Stockdale and sponsored by Advocate Access NW and Beyond the Forest. All abilities are welcome, and drop-in participation is encouraged.

An afternoon open mic takes place on the final Sunday of each month and welcomes performers without requiring sign ups. The program features live music, comedy, and poetry. Participants may share original pieces or present works by favorite poets or musicians. Each person is allotted up to 15 minutes.
