Rock & Brews hosts The Heart of Rock & Roll, an authentic salute to 80s icons Huey Lewis & The News that has been thrilling audiences since 2013. The performance brings the signature sound and look to life, celebrating the band’s blend of rock, pop, blues, and soul while re-creating the feel of a classic Huey Lewis & The News concert. Frontman Roger Langdon channels Huey Lewis with striking accuracy, from vocals to stage presence. After seeing the group live, founding member Sean Hopper praised their uncanny attention to detail across the entire show.

Motorcyclists will depart from the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice and ride to Elk Rock View Point near Mount St. Helens in a tribute to Deputy Justin DeRosier. This eighth annual memorial ride costs 20 dollars per rider and 10 dollars per passenger, and lunch is included. Participants can also enter raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing, with proceeds supporting a college scholarship created in his honor.

Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on LEGO building session where participants can build, connect, and have fun at their own pace. All ages are welcome, with ages 13 and under attending with an adult. The event is hosted by Jamie Stockdale and sponsored by Advocate Access NW and Beyond the Forest. All abilities are welcome, and drop-in participation is encouraged.
