Chanel Beads is the project of Shane Lavers, who grew up in Minnesota and began making music under this name while living in Seattle in 2016. Early on, he blended synthetic textures with live instrumentation to create songs that sidestep clear genre lines. By 2022 he had relocated to New York, and tracks like Ef and True Altruism drew notice for their androgynous vocals, uncanny sheen, and close-up emotional pull. What started with house shows and illicit performances in abandoned train tunnels eventually led to a leap onto much bigger stages, including a North American arena tour in support of Lorde. Lavers returns with a second album titled Your Day Will Come, intentionally echoing the name of his 2024 breakthrough debut while offering a completely new work. The phrase at its core wrestles with certainty and doubt, inviting questions about what it means for a moment to arrive and how sure anyone can be. Guided by Tone Circle Founder Briana Blythe and the soothing resonance of crystal singing bowls, the session weaves gentle meditation with freeform vocal toning to quiet mental chatter, regulate the nervous system, and support alignment of mind, body, and spirit. It is a nonreligious, embodiment-based experience, and no singing background is needed. Attendees sustain simple sounds such as hums or open vowels with nothing to learn, memorize, or perform. Her songs explore longing and courage, giving room to difficult emotions alongside beauty. Echoes of her Portuguese heritage color her expression. After years of feeling between cultures, music became a place for honest self-knowledge. Her debut album, Diamonds & Demons, opened the way for performances in intimate and large settings internationally, favoring presence over perfection and sincerity over showmanship. The cathedral environment offers an open floor concert experience where quiet picnics are welcome. Seating is mostly open, with a few reserved seats at the front, and includes pews, benches, chairs and floor space around the stage. Bringing cushions or blankets can make the experience more comfortable. A bar is available with ID and proceeds from alcohol sales support local music and nonprofit work through community sponsors. He appears with bassist Peter Barshay and drummer David Flores, forming a piano trio that brings expressive, groove-forward Brazilian jazz to the stage.

The planned program features themes from The Legend of Zelda across multiple eras, including the main theme, selections from Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past’s Dark World, and Skyward Sword’s Ballad of the Goddess. Additional highlights include the Mii Channel from the Wii series, Terra’s Theme and Prelude from Final Fantasy VI, the title screen from Pokémon Sun and Moon, the main themes from Halo, Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us, Super Metroid, and Minecraft, as well as Journey’s Nascence, Tetris’s Korobeiniki, Mario Kart 64’s Rainbow Road, Hollow Knight’s Hornet, Undertale’s Megalovania, Celeste’s First Steps, and a Super Mario Bros medley.
