Sex Siren turns to Oz after dark with looks that sparkle, shine, or glow, and breaks out catboy, senior, junior, fem queen, women, transman, legends, and icons. Face invites a wicked entrance that would crash Glinda’s celebration, with BQ, FQ, transman, GNC, women, BQID, legend, and icon in play. Body celebrates summer in Oz with a creative outfit touched with gold, featuring BQ swimmers, BQ models, BQ muscular, FQ models, FQ luscious, transman, women, legendary, and icons. Hosts are also calling for wordsmiths in Commentator vs Commentator, where original chants that include the word wizard secure tens and carry battles until a single voice remains. Foot and Eye centers one-of-a-kind or custom footwear and eyewear inspired by the Wicked film for male figure, female figure, and GNC. Bizarre imagines what happens when good and bad collide and requires a broom as part of the effect. The evening builds to a milestone moment with FQ Performance, inviting personal interpretations of Glinda or Elphaba that reach for the impossible. Winners of Star, Statement, Legendary, and Icon will return to battle for the grand award. Stephen Taylor, originally from Louisiana and now based out of Kansas City, blends personal stories with easy Southern charm while performing at clubs, bars, colleges, and in his own classroom. Lou Pharis hails from a lesser-known corner of Louisiana and once chased football and American Ninja Warrior before turning to public education and comedy. After a particularly rough day at school he tried an open mic, later racking up more than 100 million social media views, headlining Zanies, Comedy Works, and Wiseguys, and appearing on NBC and Bored Teachers, with festival performances across the country.

New Skater Summer Camp welcomes beginners who want to build confidence and skills on quad skates in a supportive setting. Registration is open, and the fee is $425 per skater. Monday evenings bring the Ballard Elks Paddling Races, a mix of timed racing and a relaxed social paddle for anyone on the water. The lineup features Le-Vy Nguyen on guitar and vocals, Jon Chu on bass and vocals, and Shaun Mejia on drums. Presented as part of Artists At the Center, a multi-year collaboration between the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Center with support from the Uptown Arts & Culture Coalition and nearby communities, the program offers performance opportunities that connect artists with new audiences and help advance creative careers. Visitors encounter surprising pop-up performances throughout the year, and each year’s roster is selected with an equity and social justice lens to ensure representation for underserved and emerging artists across music, dance, theater, demonstrations, and multidisciplinary work.

A summer-long pinball series unfolds across two Alki arcades, Gary's Place and West Seattle Arcade. Both rooms run at the same time and players walk between them to choose their games, keeping the action moving from one stop on the beach to the other. Each night features head-to-head matchups in which participants select the machine at either location. Play can go up to five rounds with two games per round. Winning a single game earns one point, sweeping both in a round is worth three. Extra balls are limited to thirty seconds. The same machine cannot be chosen twice in a night, and a machine already in use cannot be selected. The top three competitors receive payouts at the end of the night. Points accumulate throughout the season and only the five best nights count toward the standings, so missing a week is not a setback. The top half of the standings qualifies for the Series Finals, and the finals prize pool grows by five dollars per player each week. Entry is five dollars per night and all ages are welcome. New players to competitive pinball will find the format friendly and easy to step into, and participation can begin in any week of the series.

Showbox Presents brings Better Than Ezra to The Showbox with David Hill. Soldiers of Steel Festival returns to Substation with two days of music across two stages, framed by a Thursday pre-party and a Sunday matinee paired with a metal swap.
