Two music-fueled improv shows share the spotlight at ComedyCity. Musicale Rando turns audience inspiration into a full-length musical created in real time, with a playful twist... the songs arrive out of sequence. An opener might show up mid-show, a grand love song could surface before the leads even meet, a villain may step in long after the plot is underway, an uprising might burst forth at the most awkward moment, and a finale can appear before anyone is ready. Expect tender ballads, lively ensemble pieces, surprise revelations, and big finishes, all shuffled into an unpredictable order. Liquor & Sweatpants, ComedyCity’s musical duo, builds a fast-moving set of scenes and songs from audience suggestions. Together, these two performances are part of Rogue Comedy Month.
