Now in its 15th year in Walworth County, this youth beef cookout offers steak or burgers with all the fixings.
Crochet Embellished Tote Bag Workshop
Design a personalized canvas tote in a relaxed, open format workshop at Buzzed Wine Bar. Participants select a hand crocheted square or circle accent, then customize the bag with beads, tassels, rhinestones, and other decorative touches. Beginners are welcome, and you can work at your own pace. The $20 fee includes one canvas tote, one hand crocheted embellishment, access to a wide range of accents, all necessary tools, guided instruction, and sample ideas for inspiration. Additional embellishments may be available for purchase. This activity suits adults, teens, and older children. A cash bar will be available with wine, beer, cocktails, mocktails, and boba drinks. Purchasing tickets ahead of time is encouraged, and walk in participation is available while supplies last. Leave with a unique bag ready for shopping, market visits, beach days, or everyday errands.
Storywagon: Snake Discovery
Experience an interactive reptile program led by a Snake Discovery zookeeper. Explore what these animals eat, the environments they inhabit, and how they protect themselves, all demonstrated with engaging props and live reptiles. Get hands-on by feeling a lizard’s scales or holding a snake, and expect to learn something new along the way.
Market at Tower Park
Tower Park in Downtown Delavan hosts a weekly market with more than 50 vendors. Browse farm fresh produce, baked treats, and distinctive handmade goods from local growers and makers. Food is available from three different vendors, and the Delavan Chamber operates a beer garden. Live music sets the tone, creating a friendly setting to shop, snack, and take in the atmosphere.
