Explore the art of hand drum making with Booster Taddy in a hands-on workshop that blends traditional techniques with intentional practice. Participants build a 16 inch hand drum from start to finish, learning how to stretch and lace the hide and craft a matching beater while engaging with the materials in a mindful, ceremonial setting. The experience emphasizes breath, connection, and the deeper relationship between maker and instrument. Drumming is presented as a support for meditation and shamanic journeys. The fee is $200 and covers all materials, including a 16 inch hoop, ethically sourced hide, lacing, and beater supplies. Hide options include buffalo, deer, elk, horse, and bear, with bear available for an additional $50. Quantities are limited and specific hide selections are not guaranteed. Class size is limited. To avoid online processing fees, tickets can be purchased in person at Awakened Lakeshore during store hours. PetSkull Brewing hosts DOWNPOUR, an AC/DC tribute that captures the band’s raw power with pounding rhythms, searing guitar solos, and vocals in the spirit of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. The performance leans into the classic look as well, featuring schoolboy uniforms and rock attire reminiscent of Angus Young, while delivering fan favorites like Highway to Hell, Back in Black, and Thunderstruck. Now in its third year, Zoo Snooze invites participants to camp overnight at the zoo and spend an evening surrounded by animals and special activities. Each ticket includes a campsite for up to four people, a tote bag filled with goodies, a private tour of the zoo, an outdoor kid friendly movie, s'mores by the campfire, dinner and breakfast, plus other fun experiences. Camping gear is not provided, so bring a tent, sleeping bags, a headlamp or flashlight, and anything else that will make the night comfortable. Members of the Lincoln Park Zoological Society receive a discount on each ticket.

Rogers Street Days brings the community together by the lake for a family-friendly celebration. Expect live music at no cost, plenty of food, and refreshments suitable for all ages. Kids will find games to enjoy, and the activities support an annual fundraiser for Rogers Street Fishing Village.

Stolen Sidekicks is a rock duo from Sheboygan County, Wisconsin that draws on influences like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, and Royal Blood. Their two-piece format does not limit their range, as they move through alternative, blues, country, pop rock, and a wide span of sounds in between. The set blends covers with original songs for a distinctive, high energy performance.

Stargazing with astronomers Al and Ben features guided views of constellations, the moon, and other celestial sights. The Sky Shed now uses electronic viewing so everyone can watch live sky images on a wall-mounted screen. Activities are held outdoors near the Nature Center and are dependent on weather and sky conditions. At Washington Park, a community car and motorcycle show welcomes spectators at no cost, with European makes taking center stage. Participants entering a vehicle pay a $10 cash-only fee, and proceeds support local children. Throughout the event there will be periodic demonstrations by Lakeshore FIRST Robotics, live music from the Manitowoc Marine Band, and a concluding awards ceremony. Trophies are presented across all categories, with judging handled by the vehicle owners, and the first 200 registered cars and motorcycles receive dash plaques. Classes cover a wide range, including antique automobiles built before 1946, stock cars grouped by era from 1946 into the present, and modified cars organized as pre-1946, 1946 to 1970, and 1971 to present. Truck categories include stock models from 1900 to 1970 and from 1971 to present, plus modified trucks of any year. There are also dedicated groups for Corvettes, Mustangs, sports cars, and foreign makes, along with motorcycles categorized as antique, stock, and modified. Antique motorcycles span 1900 to 1970, while stock motorcycle entries run from 1971 to the present.

A beachside performance features Ask Your Mother with a high energy mix of rock, pop, and country favorites. It takes place on Neshotah Beach beneath the Rotary Pavilion. If weather becomes an issue, the show will move to the community house in Downtown Two Rivers. The Dweebs bring their multi generational family act to The Wharf Manitowoc. Founded in 1987 by Michael "Papa Dweeb" Blue, the band expanded in 2004 when his three children joined, and in 2024 the grandchildren stepped in, creating a third generation lineup. They travel the country performing at fairs, festivals, private parties, and company parties, continuing a long tradition of playing together and sharing what they love with audiences.

Alcoholics Anonymous offers a welcoming setting for people working to overcome alcohol dependency. Participants talk openly about what they are facing, exchange personal stories, and learn from one another. Conversation focuses on practical ways to stay sober while building mutual support, creating a sense of community, understanding, and recovery.

An Al-Anon meeting that provides peer support for people affected by someone else’s drinking. Participants meet as equals and share personal experiences to find understanding and encouragement. Attendees may be coping with a spouse or partner who drinks, or a parent, child, grandchild, sibling, friend, or another relative. Some have more than one loved one struggling with alcohol. Newcomers often look for situations similar to their own, and over time come to see the benefit of learning how Al-Anon principles can help across many different circumstances.

Babies can delight in a bubbly playtime at Manitowoc Public Library that centers on movement, curiosity, and early learning. Little ones will explore plenty of bubbles through hands-on, sensory activities with opportunities to laugh, pop, and play. This experience is designed for children ages 3 and under.

This CoDA meeting brings together people who want to cultivate healthier, more loving relationships within the framework of Co-Dependents Anonymous. As part of a twelve step fellowship focused on recovery from codependency, participants support one another by speaking about their journeys and working the program together. The emphasis is on building respectful connections with self and others while letting go of unhelpful patterns.

PetSkull Brewing hosts a Tuesday Food Truck Rally featuring food trucks, live music, and craft beer and cocktails. This edition highlights Russ Reiser performing a variety set. The series runs every Tuesday from May through September with support from River North Apartments and Nicolet Bank Manitowoc. Participating vendors include Holla on Wheels with elevated street food, Vues Thai Street offering Thai and Asian bites, El Tequila with Mexican favorites, Grizzlys serving barbecue, Nina’s Pita Hut with pitas and gyros, Linda Loves Cheesecakes for desserts, Rawlz Dawgz with Chicago style options, TR Bubble Tea, Ma’s Kettlekorn with gourmet kettle corn, and Kitzgarbo offering American classics.

Take your practice outside at Neshotah Beach with Lake Michigan in view. HME Home Medical in Manitowoc is hosting a customer appreciation gathering that celebrates customers and the local community. Expect a casual, welcoming atmosphere with free lunch and refreshments, prizes and giveaways, and opportunities to meet the HME Home Medical team along with visiting vendor representatives. Look for special offers on select products, live demonstrations of products, and time to ask questions. It is a chance to explore mobility, accessibility, and home medical equipment in a friendly, relaxed setting. There is no admission fee, and friends and family are welcome.

In the outdoor Little Wings Nature Play Area, families can enjoy special play days with hands-on activities and the chance to get a little messy. Activities are tailored for ages 2 to 10 and are open to everyone. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participation is free and no registration is needed. If the weather turns bad, the fun moves to the education room for indoor options. Supported by the Packers Foundation.

Volunteer docents lead a guided tour of the Vilas-Rahr Mansion, sharing stories about former residents, highlighting distinctive architectural features, and tracing the building’s transformation from a private residence to a civic center and, later, a fine arts museum. Aligned with the early waxing crescent of the lunar cycle, the experience invites quiet intention, gentle beginnings, and space to plant new seeds with care and clarity. With the shoreline beside you and open sky overhead, the setting supports reflection and soft forward momentum. The session encourages releasing what feels heavy, reconnecting with what feels true, and attuning to what is ready to grow. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and any comfort items such as a blanket, bolster, or pillow suitable for the sand. Cost is $33 and space is limited. Pyromania brings an electrifying Def Leppard tribute to The Wharf Manitowoc, showcasing soaring lead vocals, blazing guitar solos, a rock-solid rhythm section, and tight harmonies that mirror the classic sound. For over two decades the band has toured internationally, earning a spot on AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands in season 4. Early in their journey, members collaborated with Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen to help organize a fan convention in Las Vegas that supported his Raven Drum Foundation, drawing coverage from MTV and VH1, with Def Leppard promoting the event on their website. Their performance history spans casinos, parks, cruise ships, and major stages, including Summerfest in Milwaukee, New Year’s Eve on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, and the Monsters on the Mountain festival presented by Monsters of Rock Cruises. Some members have also performed and recorded with Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell. Celebrating the legacy of a band with 100 million records sold worldwide, Pyromania delivers the hits with arena-ready energy.
